I was listening to some of the tapes from Nelson Mandela last night. It was on the news. What an interesting man! His life was so full of hardship and yet he was so kind and forgiving. He says that he was free because of his ability to forgive. After being ill last year I have made an effort to look at things differently than I have in the past. The biggest thing I have tried to change is to try to see things from another person's point of view. The exception of course is sometime the other point of view makes no sense. This has allowed me to be more relaxed about a number of things. Which in turn has made me a better person. It has also forced me toto clarify what is really important to me. So while I try to see the other point of view it is also important to know where I stand on things.
What is important to you?
